I have been working with some aspects of cement for over 30 years. From laborer, to operating a business, and estimating to CAD design. Responsibilities include forming, grading, ordering materials, to set up, pouring and finishing.
I agree you must have great communication and public relations skills. Whether it is the inspector, business manager, project superintendent, general contractor or most importantly, the homeowner. You must agree on all the terms and deadlines.
I always provide teamwork, trust, dedication, and most importantly safety. I believe that’s the way these structures and projects are successfully completed.
